Jeremy Calhoun is an experienced corporate leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate with over 15 years of experience in corporate America. A former IT and business leader at several Fortune 150 companies and a government entity, Jeremy built a distinguished career specializing in leadership, recruiting, talent acquisition and retention, and IT project management and consultation.
As a corporate IT leader, Jeremy successfully led high-impact IT infrastructure projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless technology integration and operational efficiency. He played a key role in hiring, developing, and retaining top-tier talent, helping organizations strengthen their workforce pipeline. His leadership extended beyond operations—he was actively involved in college recruiting, IT outreach, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, advocating for equitable career opportunities and leadership development.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Jeremy’s passion for mentorship, leadership development, and career empowerment led him to co-found STS Enterprise Corporation, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to equipping young professionals with the tools, knowledge, and networks to pursue purpose-driven careers. Under his leadership, STS has impacted thousands of students, providing career exploration, leadership training, and workforce development programs that prepare them for success in competitive industries.
Jeremy also co-founded Faithworks Consulting LLC, a consulting firm specializing in business strategy, scaling operations, and leadership coaching. His expertise has helped individuals, organizations, and companies grow, develop, and optimize their businesses.
A recognized servant leader, Jeremy has been appointed to multiple Memphis and Shelby County mayoral committees, offering strategic insight on education, workforce development, and juvenile justice reform. He has also served in several leadership roles with the Greater Memphis Chamber’s Young Professionals Council and currently chairs it, leading initiatives that drive engagement, leadership development, and professional growth for young professionals in the Memphis region.
Beyond his professional and civic commitments, Jeremy is also a volunteer football coach at Germantown High School, mentoring student-athletes in leadership and discipline.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Memphis and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in project management from Christian Brothers University. Jeremy attributes his success, wins, and lessons learned to his faith, parents, mentors, and his wife, Samantha. Whether in corporate leadership, nonprofit development, or business consulting, Jeremy remains dedicated to creating pathways for others to thrive and making a lasting difference in every space he serves.
Most recently, Jeremy has embarked on his doctoral journey, pursuing his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in leadership at Trevecca Nazarene University. Beginning in August 2025, he will continue this next chapter of growth, with an expected completion date of December 2027. This pursuit reflects his belief that leadership is not just about influence but about continual learning, stewardship, and equipping others to live boldly in their calling.
